My creative process often begins with a photograph, serving as the foundation for my work. Leveraging my background in visual effects, I manipulate these images, extending this practice into my paintings. While I may start with a loose sketch or draw inspiration from AI-generated images, it rarely dictates the final outcome. Photography grounds my otherwise abstract and expansive concepts, anchoring them in reality and providing a tangible basis for exploration and transformation.
